Terri Cooper, LMT and owner of A Healthy Alternative Therapeutic Massage is a graduate of Heritage College (2005). Having been a downtown Lee's Summit business owner for the last 13 years Terri loves to bring therapeutic massage to the area. She has been doing this long enough to have seen most injuries/pain problems but also knows that each body is different. She takes the time to get to know what is really bothering you and works the problem and any ancillary problems that might have occurred (some without you even knowing). So many times clients have been living with a pain, problem or injury for so long they do not realize it is effecting their health and other aspects of their life and body.  Regular massage is a way to heal and control these effects.  Aromatherapy, a nice warm table and wonderful heated pillows are included in most massages.....Enjoy!

Alberta Adkins, LMT, Being a mom of boys, I really understand the value of relaxation and taking care of yourself!  I graduated from Massage Therapy Training Institute (now WellSpring School of Allied Health) in 2003 and became Nationally Certified and State Certified.  MyoFascial Release and Deep Tissue are my areas of expertise.  Mother Earth Pillows enhance my relaxing massages.  My goal is to help the client fully relax and rejuvenate.  -Alberta

Amanda Postlewait, LMT is a 2008 graduate of High-Tech Institute. She has worked in multiple spa environments. Her focus is on whole body wellness by relieving tension/pain and reducing stress.
Amanda uses relaxing strokes and varying pressure to assist in muscle mobility; She utilizes Swedish (light, flowy) strokes, up to deep tissue (affects the deeper layers of tissue,) as requested. Most sessions she uses neuromuscular techniques to aid muscles in resetting and relaxing. This is a more gentle approach to trigger point therapy. She also offers pre-natal massage.

Amanda may incorporate stretches or recommend postural changes in daily tasks to alleviate pain. Essential oils are available, depending on ailment or preference. Her aim is to provide a calm, comfortable, and relaxed experience. Looking forward to working on you!

Leah Maloney, LMT graduated from Professional Fitness Institute in 2006.  Leah has an athletic background and likes to incorporate gentle stretching into massage.  Swedish Techniques and varying pressure to release muscle tension are used to create an overall relaxing experience.
